I liked these people, it was mellow in this area, none of the practitioners
got shot this day. However, one of the girls, not pictured here, was shot in
the jaw at one of the previous peace rallies on the Oakland docks. Appalled
and angery, the Long Shore workers, pissed at the police, started throwing
stuff at them, and in turn the workers were shot several times, in their
backs as they fled under heavy police fire. I saw 2 and 3 nasty welts at a time
on the backs of say... eigh to ten or so people.
